The Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity has granted permission to Ministries of Planning and Finance to raise the allocations of Chapter Three (Development) by more than 21.2 billion dinars, to cover projects in 2024, in two separate decisions dated December 31, 2024.
In the first decision, the Council of Ministers authorized the Ministry of Planning and Finance to raise ten billion dinars from Chapter Three of the public budget to the deposits and trusts account at the Ministry of Finance, to be used to cover development projects and programs for electricity, oil and other projects for the year 2024.
As for the second decision, it stipulates permission for the Ministries of Planning and Finance to raise 11 billion, 260 million, 952 thousand and 183 dinars from the allocations of Chapter Three of the general budget to the deposits and trusts account at the Ministry of Finance, to be used to cover development projects and programs for the year 2025.
