The Ministry of Interior is considering establishing a security room, joint between the Sabha Security Directorate, the Criminal Investigation Agency, and the General Administration of Central Support to secure the city of Sabha.

The issue was on the table at a meeting between Interior Minister Khaled Mazen, the head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, the director of Sabha Security Directorate, and the assistant director of the General Administration of Central Support.

The officials discussed strengthening security patrols in the south and reviewed the situation in the region.

They stressed the need for all relevant agencies to work together to ensure the success of the operation and fulfill the hopes and aspirations of Libyans to live in a place where security and law prevail.
