The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Taiani, is preparing to visit Turkey, to discuss developments in the Libyan file, according to the Italian Nova News Agency.

Regarding the migration file, the Italian minister said in a statement on Tuesday, that he will go to Turkey soon, in order to deal with the Libyan issue as well, noting that Libya and Tunisia are the other main departure points for the migration boats.

The Italian minister also announced a close meeting with his Tunisian counterpart Othman Al-Jarandi to discuss the same issues.
