Al-Zawiya municipal members elected in an event held in Corinthia Hotel, Tripoli on Thursday Jamal Abdelnasser Baher as the mayor of the city under the supervision of the Local Governing Ministry and the central committee of municipalities.
The elected mayor said in a speech on Thursday that he and his colleagues will be working to make sure the city is safe and secure and will be working in coordination with ball Libyan municipalities as well as the Ministry of Local Governing.
Last May, Al-Zawiya people elected the musical members of the city, thus making it the third local authority in the last seven years.
