The Libyan Crimes Watch (LCW) has revealed that a number of people from Tobruk city, demonstrated on Monday in front of the House of Representatives (HoR) HQ, were attacked by Brigade 106, which belongs to the so-called General Command.
LCW stated that it had monitored five violations, including the arbitrary arrest of two demonstrators, running over a female demonstrator with a car, and using violence, beatings and threats against at least two others.
It also called on the competent authorities to protect the demonstrators, open an investigation into the attacks against them, hold those responsible to account, and afford the right to demonstrate and peaceful assembly.
