The Department of Non-communicable Diseases at the National Center for Disease Control has organized a scientific day on hypertension.
The event aimed to promote awareness of this disease and bring the issue to the fore.
It included several scientific and lecture demonstrations on how to prevent high blood pressure and reduce the complications accompanying this illness. Hypertension constitutes one of the leading causes of death in Libya in recent years.
