Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Nasreddin Al-Fazani, held talks with Chinese Chargé d'Affaires Liu Jian to explore ways of revitalizing a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two nations in 2010.

Discussions focused on reactivating the agreement, developing a new executive program, and promoting over 600 Libyan tourist destinations that remain largely untapped.

Plans to establish a direct air route between Libya and China were also discussed, alongside measures to streamline visa processes for Chinese tourists.

The meeting further touched on cooperation with the Asian Development Bank and the Silk Road Fund, as well as Chinese initiatives to support Libya's tourism and service sectors.
