Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, has discussed with Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Libya, Mohammad Amar Ma’ruf, potential areas for practical collaboration and development of the oil sector in Libya.

Ma’ruf expressed his country's desire to enhance relations with Libya, confirming readiness to cooperate in the field of developing technical skills for oil and gas sector workers in Libya by providing training programs in several fields, such as marine technology and maritime transport.

For his part, Sanallah welcomed the Indonesian proposal, noting that it would be studied in further details by the Department of Human Resources of NOC.

The two sides also addressed the potential return of Indonesian companies such as Pertamina.
