Libya has ranked 173rd out of 180 countries in the 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) released by Transparency International, improving by three spots compared to 2023, when it ranked 170th.
In the 2024 ranking, South Sudan came last with a score of 8 points, followed by Somalia in 179th place with 9 points, Venezuela in 178th with 10 points, Syria in 177th with 12 points, and then Libya, Yemen, Eritrea, and Equatorial Guinea, each with a score of 13 points.
