The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, held talks with his Turkish counterpart Vedat Işıkhan on strengthening labour mobility between the two nations.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Global Labour Market Conference 2025 in Riyadh, attended by relevant ministers from 45 countries.
Both sides discussed plans to facilitate labour movement through a memorandum of understanding, ensuring workers' rights, social security, and insurance protections. Minister Al-Abed emphasized the importance of Turkish-Libyan collaboration in labour policy development and market regulation, highlighting the potential for economic growth in both countries.
