The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity has welcomed UN Security Council Resolution 2712, which calls for the establishment of urgent truce and humanitarian corridors extending throughout the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry requested that this decision be a prelude to the international community taking more advanced and consistent positions with the extent of the suffering facing Palestinian civilians, to stop all aspects of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and to prevent attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
In another statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, considering the bombing as part of clear occupation policy to destroy all civilian and service facilities in Gaza.
