The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, discussed on Saturday, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the Libyan file, in addition to issues of common interest.

This came during their meeting in the Qatari capital, Doha, which is hosting the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.

The two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation and ways to support and develop them, according to the Qatari News Agency.

The meeting also touched on developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, Libya and Afghanistan, and the latest developments in the Iranian nuclear file talks.
