The Charge d'Affairs of the US Embassy to Libya, Jeremy Berndt, has discussed with the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, ways to support the political process led by the United Nations.
“We discussed how best to support the UN-facilitated political process, strengthen bilateral US-Libya relations, and promote Libya’s stability and prosperity”, Berndt said according to the US X platform page.
The American diplomat expressed his concern about the disappearance of parliamentarian Ibrahim Al Dirsi, hoping for his swift and safe return to his family.
