The House of Representatives' (HoR) delegation at the Inter-Parliamentary Union called for an immediate halt to the genocide against the residents of the Gaza Strip, and to stop the bloodshed and violations of human rights.
The statement came from the Libyan HoR delegation participating in the meetings of the Arab Geopolitical Group at the 147th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the Angolan capital, according to what was reported by HoR spokesman Abdullah Blehiq.
The delegation was headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the HoR, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, who insisted on including an emergency clause on the Palestinian issue to discuss the latest humanitarian situation as a result of the brutal Israeli attacks on Gaza.
