The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed on Monday with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh, holding national elections.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs and Head of the Ministerial Committee in charge of supporting and implementing the electoral process Walid Ellafi.
Dbeibah stressed his government’s keenness to implement the expected elections as soon as possible, reiterating the readiness of the Government of National Unity to provide the required assistance in order to achieve the vote.
The two sides also discussed joint coordination efforts to hold presidential and legislative elections as per fair and impartial laws.
