The General Union of Libyan Students called for student rallies in Libyan universities next Thursday in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to denounce the Israeli aggression.
The Union stressed in a statement that the rallies are motivated by faith, belief, brotherhood and humanity, demanding an end to the aggression against Gaza and the imposition of a permanent ceasefire.
The statement called for allowing the displaced to return to their homes, opening the borders, and delivering food, medicine, medical and humanitarian teams into Gaza. It called for a boycott of all products that support the Zionist entity directly or indirectly.
The Union also expressed its solidarity with students at Western universities who support the Palestinian Cause, and urged all students at Arab universities to participate in these solidarity rallies to support the people of Gaza.
