Libya’s Afriqiyah Airways said the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) had agreed on the money transfers for the handling companies in airports used by the airliner.

The spokesman for the airliner, Omran Al-Zabadi, said the CBL has also agreed to transfer money to the international organizations and maintenance firms that owe Afriqiyah Airways money.

“This will allow the airliner to work normally without any restrains and debts.” The spokesman added, saying the Presidential Council promised to resolve the issues facing the new board of directors of the airliner.
