The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has convened the fifth meeting of the Advisory Committee in Tripoli, focusing on unresolved disputes within the country’s electoral frameworks.
In a statement on Facebook, the mission confirmed that discussions centred on key legal and technical challenges affecting Libya’s electoral process.
The meeting brought together committee members, as well as the chairman and board members of the High National Elections Commission, in an effort to navigate legal complexities and advance preparations for future elections.
