The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met in Al-Qubbah in eastern Libya, the Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, and discussed the vote of confidence for the yet-to-be-formed interim government, Menfi's media office reported Sunday.

Menfi was received by Saleh as part of the former's visit to Al-Baydaa city, his third stop in eastern Libya after Benghazi and Tobruk.

In Tobruk, Menfi said the city's social components reiterated support for the new Presidential Council, adding that he had reviewed with a delegation of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives their participation at the session to be held in a few days to grant the interim government confidence so it starts working.
