The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Medical Centers Affairs, Tawfiq Al-Darsi, has discussed with the Director of the Zliten Medical Center the activation of the memorandum of understanding concluded between the Ministry of Health and the Turkish Basaksehir Hospital.
The MoU includes bringing in visiting doctors in a number of rare specialties, to perform surgeries for spinal deformities, congenital malformations, and vascular surgeries within the Zliten Medical Center, as well as sending a number of doctors working at the center to receive advanced training in medical specialties for three months in Turkey.
Al-Darsi explained that all medical centers in Libya will benefit from the agreement to develop the skills of medical personnel through the training programs, as well as improve specialized medical services.
