The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, has affirmed that the National Rehabilitation and Reintegration Project is one of the real mechanisms for achieving peace in Libya and constitutes the basic foundation for any upcoming national project, stressing the need for the cooperation of all governmental and international agencies to ensure its success.

This came during his participation in a workshop in Tunisia organized by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), where ways of activating the program and activities planned within the framework of the national project were discussed, in addition to identifying cooperation mechanisms with the USIP to enhance the capabilities of project workers.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the office of USIP in Libya, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the National Rehabilitation and Reintegration Project Department.
