Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC) Fayez Al-Sarraj discussed with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov, the issue of the Libyan carrier Badr, detained in Bulgaria, and bilateral relations between the two countries.

Borissov said during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Friday, that the Libyan tanker crisis is on its way to a solution after the completion of the relevant documents in the Bulgarian court.

For his part, Al-Sarraj stressed the importance of enhancing communication between the Libyan and Bulgarian foreign ministries in order to release the tanker as soon as possible, in addition to activating the agreements signed between the two countries for the return of the Bulgarian companies to Libya, to participate in infrastructure and reconstruction projects.
