Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Muhammad Menfi, on Monday received Minister of Justice Halima Al-Bousifi in the presence of the council's member, Abdullah Al-Lafi.
A statement by the PC media office said the meeting focused on the conditions of prisons and human rights issues, including the rights of inmates and unfulfilled release orders for prisoners.
Menfi also briefed the participants on his meetings in New York with the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan.
