The Presidential Council (PC) on Tuesday hosted a meeting grouping the PC head, the prime minister, the High Council of State head, and the Central Bank of Libya governor.

The meeting discussed ways to support cities that have been affected by recent floods while ensuring that financial resources are distributed transparently and fairly.

For his part, The PC Head, Mohammed Menfi, called on the Supreme Finance Committee to hold an urgent meeting and respond to the expectations of the Libyan and international community.

On the other hand, PM Abdul Hamid Dbeibah presented a detailed report on the Cabinet's recent meeting and the resolutions that were implemented.

The group also discussed the work of international support teams on the ground and the difficulties they face.
