A fire broke out in palm plantation in the Jalu oasis in southeastern Libya, on Monday, while the people made demands and distress calls to officials and the oil authorities to help them control the fire.
Local activists reported on social media that the fire has so far destroyed dozens of palm trees in the area, calling on the nearby oil companies and security authorities to help the people put out the fire.
