The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has met with the French Ambassador to Libya, Beatrice de Helen, to discuss the political and economic situation in the country.

During the meeting, Dbeibah stressed that the only option for the GNU is to hold elections.

He also congratulated the French President Emmanuel Macron for his re-election, according to the media office of the Prime Minister.
