The Media Office of Sabha Medical Center has stated that medical staff of the pediatric department at the center managed to save 11 children from food poisoning.
The children were in a deteriorating health condition, when they were admitted to the department, and following quick medical intervention they became better, it added.
The cases arrived at the center Saturday night, and all of them were from one family, according to the center's statement on its Facebook page, posted on Sunday.
The statement indicated that eight children were discharged after their health status stabilized, while three others remained subject to full medical care at the ward, however their health condition improved from what it was.
