The Education Monitoring Office of Tarhuna Municipality announced the suspension of classes on Sunday and Monday until a report is prepared by the relevant authorities regarding the impact of the floods on the city.
Western Libya experienced heavy rainfall and floods last Thursday and Friday, causing valley streams to flow heavily, closing several major roads, and resulting in several fatalities in Tarhuna, which led to the death of three people.
