The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, has received the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aghanen, at the HCS headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
The talks focused on the political process in Libya and national reconciliation, including the HCS efforts in this field, and the initiative of the President of the Republic of the Congo, Déni Sassou Nguesso, regarding organizing the National Reconciliation Conference, the Russian embassy said on its Facebook page.
The meeting came after the Russian ambassador's meeting with the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi in Tripoli, during which they discussed the political process, in addition to the Russian-Libyan bilateral relations in the economic and social fields.
