The Turkish news agency Anka reported the appointment of Güven Begeç as Turkey's new ambassador to Libya, replacing the current ambassador, Kenan Yilmaz.
According to the agency, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the appointment decision and it was published in the Official Gazette, along with other internal and external changes and appointments.
Turkish Ambassador Kenan Yilmaz has spent 3 years in his position in Libya since he began his work in Tripoli in April 2021.
