The Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, has confirmed his country's determination to develop its relations with Libya.
Yilmaz said during a press conference at Mitiga Airport on the occasion of Turkish Airlines resumption of its first flights between Istanbul and Tripoli on Thursday, that this development constitutes a historic turning point in bilateral relations between the two countries.
“This step pushes relations between Libya and Turkey forward”, Yilmaz added reiterating support to Libya, saying that Turkish Airlines intends to resume its flights to Misrata and Benghazi cities during the coming period.
