The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Saturday, congratulated Mohammad Menfi for winning the presidency of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), along with Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah for the winning of the premiership.
According to a statement by the Turkish Presidency’s Communication Department, Erdogan expressed, during two separate phone calls, his best wishes for success for both Menfi and Dbeibah in their new duties.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey will continue to provide support in order to preserve the unity of Libya, contributing to the establishment of stability, peace, security and prosperity for its people.
He also expressed his country’s keenness to continue developing cooperation with Libya in the new phase of the country.
