The Ubari-Al-Owainat road was collapsed, due to rainfall on Saturday and Sunday, according to photos circulated on social media.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that parts of the road were destroyed during the floods that struck the region on August 17, which poses a danger to passing cars.
They also indicated a lack of interest in the area despite its proximity to the Zallaf oil field.
Two people died and at least 33 others were injured as a result of the floods that struck the southern region on Saturday.
