A United Nations delegation conducted a field visit to Kufra to evaluate the conditions of refugees in the area.
The delegation, comprising the heads of the UN offices for Refugee Affairs, UNICEF, WHO, the World Food Programme, and the Resident Humanitarian Coordinator for the UN Mission in Libya, inspected Kufra General Hospital.
They provided essential medical equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, ECG machines, and prenatal care tools.
The delegation reported significant challenges due to the large number of refugees and stressed the urgent need for enhanced services and humanitarian aid.
