The UN’s special representative to Libya, Hanna Tetteh, has met with Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed El-Nafiti to discuss the United Nations Support Mission in Libya's work in the country.
During talks in Tunis, Tetteh welcomed Tunisia’s role in supporting dialogue and reconciliation efforts in Libya.
She also praised the country’s ongoing cooperation with the UN mission and the facilitation it provides to help the team operate effectively.
Foreign Minister El-Nafiti reaffirmed Tunisia’s commitment to backing UN efforts in Libya, stating that his country remained ready to assist in initiatives aimed at fostering political dialogue and national reconciliation.
