The Ministry of Interior’s Election Security Section has successfully concluded the second training program on electoral security, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The training is part of the UNDP local government project with support from Germany, and includes a specialized section on cybersecurity and social media, according to UNDP Facebook page.

According to the UNDP, the training aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the democratic governance processes, and to leverage advanced learning solutions to equip participants with the knowledge and experience, and empower them to uphold the principles of fairness and transparency in elections.
