A Libyan Foundation for Mines and War Remnants found a stash of dangerous war remnants dating back to World War 2, in the area of Faidh in Benghazi.

The foundation said that they received a communication from a citizen about the existence of suspicious objects in the area of Faidh, and immediately mobilised the demining team to the scene, adding that after the examination of these objects, they turned out to be dangerous remnants of war from the Second World War, saying that they secured and moved them to a safe storage place until their disposal.
