A number of young activists from various Libyan cities are planning to establish a nationwide group under the name “The March 30th Movement” to spread peace in Libya, stop wars and unite the state.

The preparatory committee of the movement said their group is a national initiative of independent youth to call for the establishment of a civil state away from the current status quo, ending the transitional period, forming a strong government and ending disputes and division.

The committee added that this will not be realized without pressure by the voice of the youth and the uniting efforts of young Libyans to create a public opinion heard locally and internationally through a peaceful, civil and organized movement, which includes all categories and components of Libyan society.
