Member of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Rabab Halab, has discussed with the political advisor to the British Embassy in Libya, Nicolette Baker, ways of cooperation regarding supporting and enhancing women’s participation in elections by supporting efforts aimed at raising levels of electoral awareness.
Halab reviewed programs and plans adopted by the Women’s Support Unit and its preparations for the upcoming electoral processes, according to the HNEC media office.
Baker praised the efforts made by the HNEC Women's Support Unit to raise the level of women's participation and provide the best conditions for them to reach the ballot boxes.
