The 2024 "City Nights" festival activities, in their second edition, started on Saturday evening, under the slogan “Good Days”, in the Marcus Arielius Arch Square, in the presence of the elders and residents of the Old City, and the president and members of the organizing committee for the festival.
The festival, which continues until the 25th of Ramadan, includes various programs for all ages, in a Ramadan atmosphere, including a women’s corner in which they display their handmade products, a competition for memorizing the Holy Quran, an exhibition of fine arts, and cultural evenings, in addition to a theater, a special day for children and families with competitions and prizes, mobile theater performances, storytellers and screening of old cinema.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Mossa Al-Koni, participated in the opening of the event, accompanied by the Head of the Old City Administration Development Authority, Mahmoud Al-Naas.
Al-Koni expressed his admiration for the organization by the agency and the supervisory committee, noting the success achieved by the event last year due to the momentum of the diverse and purposeful programs it provided, hoping that the second edition of the current Ramadan season would be more successful.
