Acting Foreign Minister in the Government of National Unity Taher Al-Ba'our has received a delegation representing the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Ambassador Karim Amellal, the Ministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean Basin.
The meeting, which included French Ambassador to Libya Mustafa Mihraje, discussed bilateral relations and political developments in the Libyan and international landscape.
The parties also reviewed cooperation in various fields, focusing on efforts to combat irregular migration.
During the meeting, Al-Ba'our commended the French support for Palestine's gaining full membership in the United Nations.
As announced by the French Embassy, the French envoy is scheduled to hold several meetings with politicians, economists, and civil society representatives.
