The Ministry of Local Governing of the Government of National Unity announced the launching of the second edition of the "Libya Clean" exhibition for the environment and cleaning services on November 9, saying it will continue for four days.
This came during a meeting organized by the General Administration of Environmental Sanitation Affairs at the Ministry on Saturday to officially announce the date of the exhibition's launching in the presence of a number of sponsoring and participating entities and companies.
The Director General of the General Administration of Environmental Sanitation Affairs, Ibrahim bin Dakhil, confirmed that holding such events reflects an important development in sustainable environmental concepts in the country, expressing his aspiration for this exhibition to become an international event in the future at the level of North Africa.
The Ministry's spokesman, Abu Bakr Al-Trabelsi, stressed that the "Libya Clean" exhibition is based on displaying environmental initiatives, as the latest equipment and innovations in the world of environment and cleaning will be displayed, saying it is an opportunity for companies, institutions and civil society organizations to display their contribution to protecting and improving the environment, and creating a platform to introduce their services.
The exhibition also contributes to enhancing cooperation, gaining expertise from international companies in this field, and learning about the latest equipment and innovations in the world of environment and cleanliness.
Al-Tarabelsi pointed out that the exhibition will be accompanied by a variety of activities, scientific and awareness lectures, and some seminars and programs that cover the awareness aspect for the public, adding that a forum for municipal cleaning departments will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition to target the directors of cleaning departments in municipalities across Libya.
