The Prime Minister of the UN-proposed government, Fayez Al-Sirraj, arrived Sunday in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa to represent Libya in the African Union 29th summit.
Once in Ethiopia, Al-Sirraj went to take part in the presidential meeting of the African Union's high ranking committee that is tasked with tackling Libya's crisis.
Al-Sirraj delivered a speech at the meeting elaborating on the Libyan status quo, especially the current state of affairs in Tripoli, speaking highly of the African Union's concern about achieving stability in Libya and the efforts exerted by the high ranking committee in bridging the gap among Libyan conflicting parties, pushing forward the Libyan political process toward national reconciliation.
"Political dialogue is the only way out of the current ordeal that Libya is going through, all Libyans must abide by the Libyan Political Agreement and find solutions that are in line with it and satisfactory to all." Al-Sirraj explained in his speech.
He also said that his government welcomes all initiatives that assert the sovereignty of Libya and the unity of all Libyans as well as the security of all citizens across the country.
