A delegation from the Libyan Customs Authority arrived in Algeria on Sunday, to hold a meeting of the joint customs committee between the two countries, according to the Libyan Customs Authority Facebook page.
The Inspector General of the Algerian Customs Authority received the acting Director General of the Libyan Customs Authority, Musa Mohammed, and his accompanying delegation, at Algiers International Airport.
The delegation’s visit comes within the framework of the meeting of the Libyan-Algerian joint customs committee, which will discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of customs, coordinating efforts to combat smuggling and enhancing economic integration between the two countries.
The meeting is an important step towards consolidating relations between strategic partnership between Algeria and Libya, according to the Libyan Customs Authority.
