The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah stressed during his meeting on Tuesday with the delegation of the Chinese National Coalition for Engineering Consultations, which has been visiting Libya for days, the importance of cooperation with China and its support for Libyan institutions.
The Head of the delegation of the Chinese National Coalition for Engineering Consultations reviewed the results of the technical meetings he held with the relevant ministries and executive bodies, and the technical and legal discussions on Chinese contracts previously signed with the Libyan state, as well as the steps to activate them.
The Head of the Chinese coalition also reviewed the proposed investment projects between the two countries, especially in the field of renewable energy, petroleum pipeline engineering, and engineering consulting in the field of urban planning.
Dbeibah stressed the importance of Chinese-Libyan cooperation and its contribution to providing the necessary support to Libyan institutions to benefit from Chinese companies and their expertise in various fields.
During its visit to Tripoli on Monday, the Chinese delegation held a meeting with the Chairman of the Libyan-Chinese High Committee for Cooperation, Minister of Local Governing, Badr Al-Deen Al-Toumi, as well as the National Council for Economic and Social Development, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
