Dbeibah

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah inspected neighbourhoods in the Ain Zara district, which saw, last night, intensive fighting between two powerful military factions.

The detention of a military commander by a rival armed group on Monday sparked a fight that continued until Tuesday.

Mahmoud Hamza, the commander of the 444 Brigade, was stopped and seized by the RADA Force at Tripoli's main Mitiga Airport.

The PM's media office said Dbeibah visited the affected areas to get a first-hand understanding of the situation in the affected areas.

During his visit, the Prime Minister assessed the damage to public and private property and instructed the Ministry of Local Government to take immediate action to compensate residents for any losses or property damage.
