Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh presented an eight-point strategy for developing the telecommunications sector during the General Assembly meeting of the Libyan Post, Telecommunication, and Information Technology Company held on Monday.
The strategy includes adopting a 2030 vision for the sector, enhancing cybersecurity, achieving economic efficiency, promoting transparency and accountability, supporting innovation and technological development, improving the quality of sustainable development services and social responsibility, and integrating with other government policies.
According to the "Hakomitna" platform, the initiative includes supporting the government's digital transformation and providing the necessary infrastructure.
The meeting also addressed updates on several strategic projects underway in the telecommunications sector, as well as digital transformation projects being implemented by the company in partnership with government institutions. Among these projects are the "My Country Platform" and the "Developers Club."
