The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected moderate temperature in most regions of the country, with clouds increasing today over the Green Mountain and the far southwestern regions.
The NCM stated that maximum temperature ranges between (22 - 37 °C) in most regions.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, 27 May 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds, with the possibility of fog appearing late at night and early in the morning in some areas of the western coast.
- Wind: Northeasterly, light to moderate, turning tomorrow to easterly, and then to southeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (24-30 °C) and a slight increase will be recorded tomorrow, especially in interior areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Sparsely cloudy, increasing over the Green Mountain with the possibility of light rain.
- Wind: Moderate northwesterly.
- Temperature: Ranging between (22-28°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds are increasing today in the far southwestern regions, with the possibility of light rain, especially in Ghat and its surrounding area.
- Wind: Moderate northeasterly to southeasterly, sometimes active in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (32-39°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Sparsely cloudy this evening over the far south-eastern areas.
- Wind: Moderate northerly in most areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (32-37 °C). In Kufra it could reach up to 41 °C, then decline tomorrow.
