The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the weather to remain without remarkable change in the northwestern and far eastern coast regions, with relatively moderate temperatures and an active northern wind, stirring up dust and sand, while the temperature remains high in the eastern and southern regions, ranging between (36-45).
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that thunderclouds would multiply during the evening in the areas of (Ghat - Al-Jufra - Qarayyat - Mizdah - Bani Walid - Tarhuna - the coast from east of Tripoli to Sirte), interspersed with scattered rain, while temperatures will witness a marked decline in the northeast, starting on Thursday, including most of the south on Friday.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, for Tuesday, June 04, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase this evening over the areas of Ras Jadier up to Sirte, the Al-Jafara Plain, and Nafusa Mountain, accompanied by thunderstorms over (some areas of the Western Coast - Mizdah - Qarayyat - Bani Walid and the Nafusa Mountain highlands), interspersed with scattered rain.
- Wind: Northeasterly to easterly, moderate to brisk in speed in the coast, while it is southerly and active in the interior, which causes dust and sand, it turns in the evening to a northwesterly moderate in speed over most areas.
- Temperature: Ranges between (26-29 °C) in coastal areas, and it will be between (33-42°C) in the remaining areas. it will record a decrease tomorrow.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Moderate easterly to southeasterly. It will be active tomorrow over the Gulf and Benghazi, gradually turning from tomorrow evening to northwesterly.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (34-44°C). It will be lower in Tobruk and the far eastern coast, and it will record a marked decline starting on Thursday.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds increase at times in some areas of Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames, and Al-Hamada, with the possibility of scattered rain falling in some areas, accompanied by thunderstorms at times.
- Wind: Southeasterly to southwesterly at moderate speed, gradually turning from tomorrow evening to northerly and northeasterly at moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (39-44°C), in most areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Southeasterly to easterly moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (42-46 °C).
