The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected temperature to decline in the northwestern regions and record between (25-30°C), while it remains high today in most of the eastern and southern regions, i.e ranging between (38-44°C). However, expected to decrease tomorrow in the northeastern regions.
In its daily bulletin, the NCM expected clouds to increase from time to time over the northwestern regions and parts of Al-Hamada - Al-Qarayyat - Al-Shuwairf - and Abungim - and some areas of the Gulf tomorrow evening, which may be interspersed with thunderstorms in these areas.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Tuesday, 21 May 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds increase from time to time. They may be interspersed with thunderstorms in some mountainous areas
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (25-30 °C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Sparse clouds, increasing at times.
- Wind: Southeasterly, light to moderate speed, turning tomorrow to northerly, northwesterly, moderate in speed, and active at times in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (36-41°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds increase from time to time over the area.
- Wind: Southeasterly, light to moderate, turning tomorrow to northeasterly in most areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-42 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds.
- Wind: Variable in direction to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (42-45 °C).
